Hot Girl Run Club Chi Review

Stop #9 in our “run every run club in Chicago” series, and this one hit different from the jump.

Hot Girl Run Club Chi

Hot Girl Run Club Chi is Chicago’s first run club for all womxn, all paces, and all bodies. And you could feel that mission the second we showed up. Everyone was friendly, sure, but it went past that. It felt like we already knew everyone. New folks, us included, weren’t treated like guests. We were treated like we’d already been part of the club the whole time. That’s a hard thing to pull off, and they make it look easy.

They host four to five monthly meetups, plus a regular scheduled run. The one we joined was a two-mile out and back, and not a single person ran it alone. It was a genuinely sizable group, and the conversation never stopped the entire time. Beyond the regular runs, they get creative, they’ve got an ice cream run coming up later this month.

Good for: brand new runners. If you’ve never run with a group before and you’re worried about getting left behind or lost, this is not that club. You will not get lost here.

Also good for: runners who want more than miles, people looking to build real friendships and meet new people who happen to also run.

They self sustain on inclusion, yapping, and being each other’s best, and honestly, that tracks with everything we saw.

Check them out.
